Now paraplegics can move and communicate using the Sniff Controller

 

Professor Noam Sobel’s Sniff Controller provides severely disabled or “locked in” patients a new way to communicate. The sniff controller converts nasal pressure from a patient sniffing his or her nose into electronic signals which could allow paralyzed people to type and operate wheelchairs.
